1406 Lot06 - Why Waltz Furst Gangster

June 2014 auction

Bay gelding 15/11/1998 16.1hh
On account of Amanda Cameron

This is an amazing colt by Furst Grandios (frozen). Grandios is a stallion that just oozes presence. His conformation is strikingly correct, his sequence of movement in all three gaits is elastic and especially productive and his jumping is simply awesome. Reserve Champion of the 2004 NRW approval, champion stallion at his 30-day test in Prussendorf with top scores for his gaits and for rideability (9.13), he was also convincing in jumping (8.25). Winning young horse competitions and a qualification for the Bundeschampionat in 2006, he finished his 70-day test in Schlieckau against very strong competitors on third place overall with an outstanding dressage index of 132.58. The first foals of Furst Grandios surpassed expectations: among others he presented the champion foal at the broodmare show in Wadersloh (which later sold for 28,000 Euro at the NRW Elite Foal Auction) as well as three champion foals in Bavaria and the Vice Champion foal at 2008 German Foal Championships in Lienen. Dam Arlua is, like Grandios, a granddaughter of Argentinus making the colt a double-cross. The dam line also includes Clifton Court Lucano lines. Two previous fillies from Arlua have been retained by Why Waltz. This is a great opportunity to acquire serious bloodlines for breeding or competition.
